Just an FYI-

So far, this is going fine, and the objections are phrased in ways that aren't going to cause too much concern, but please, please, please, don't ask us for details on the damn thing, because the description of the goal we got handed is very bare-bones. It's pretty much what was just in Kenichi's opener, in fact.

It's not anywhere near as bad as the New Moto Curse at Winter Court 4, in part because the voices raised in objection aren't pressing us for information we haven't got (which was the case back then and got real old, real fast), and I'd love to keep it that way

I don't think the details would be fleshed out during this court season anyway so no need to worry. Building a library will have bigwigs talking about what is ok and what isn't ok, and likely won't be started until next winter court

Just trying to get ahead of it, on a day that already siphoned off a fair few court actions

[Asako Kenichi]

While ooc I agree on a position of Imperial Librarian, Lenichi has an obligation to advocate...that said, I coukd see a world where the og librarian is asako and that is up for grabs

yeah, I half expected the "no, we want x in charge!" to lead to more pushback and debate with questions The can-kicking 'until we have an emperor/empress' is a reasonable way to address that.
