Except: Raises on Restraint lower the Binding TN, so if folks rolling for that can get rolls in early to give the Binding folks a known TN, that would be great. ^^

I thought about this quite a bit and decided Shin would probably select a mask in the Yase-otoko style (I liked this one for it, particularly).

His logic would be that however disgruntled or dangerous, an Emperor shouldn't be represented by a monstrous mask. This style of mask--human, but emaciated and a bit unsettling, with gold rims around the eye holes to indicate a supernatural element--would be used for the ghost of a human male character with some nobility but also some kind of tragic flaw or sin that prevented them from resting peacefully after death. (I absolutely swear I am not making this up on the spot, this is a real category of Noh masks and characters!)

The mask would be carved out of cypress wood, with the outside coated in glue/oyster shell gesso-like stuff to create the pale, smooth base coat and then painted and decorated with gold leaf. Noh masks are a little bit smaller than an actual human face. Google suggests they usually weigh about 4-6 ounces, so not very heavy--which makes sense, since they're meant to be worn for a while with just a cord tie in the back. The insides are usually painted a darker color. The eye holes would be rather small, so someone wearing it wouldn't have much range of vision.

The mask Shin volunteers is one of the valuable antique ones he went into Debt to acquire, made I guess by some unspecified Kakita master past. Only the best for an Emperor?

Btw - I'm probably less reliable than Shin, but I can try to do a Tea Ceremony for 2 as well (85% chance to succeed, so there's that).
