The Liberation of Otomo Gorobei consists of 5 linked Events. If you want to free Otomo Gorobei from his prison of paperwork, you may wish to coordinate who is doing what.

Each Event will unlock 8 hours after the previous one so's Eurofolks and Alaska buddy get a chance. These are one-and-done events, roll-wise.

I have Perform: Poetry along with the Voice advantage for option B for an effective roll of 8k6 if I used a VP

Is this open to all or a specific team?

I'm keen to help. My best contributions for the 5 parts are:

Part 1: Part A. Etiquette/Int TN20 - 7k4 or 8k5 (Void)
Part 2: Part A. Lore: Law/ Perception TN20 - 4k3 or 5k4 (Void)
Part 3: Part B. Lore: Bushido/Awareness TN15 - 4k3 or 5k4 (Void)
Part 4: Part A: TN 15 Lore: Lion clan/Intelligence - 5k4 or 6k5 (Void)
Part 5: Part A: TN25 Courtier/Awareness-6k3 or 7k4 (Void)

Having met Gorobei, I'd do it...out of sense of justice and fair play. I'd do alright I think in any step, but I don't want to trash the hopes and dreams of four players just because I wanted to roll dice, nor block a fifth person who is really passionate about wanting to do the event.

Here's what I offer for the remaining steps since step 1 is already done (Void spend already added because who doesn't void this roll?):

Step 2: 5k4 vs 20 or 7k4 vs 25
Step 3: 7k4 vs 20 or 5k4 vs 15 and I'll need someone to duel for me
Step 4: 7k4 vs 25 or 5k4 vs 15
Step 5: 7k4 vs 25

If I need an IC reason it's to tweak Tooru's nuts which is enough

And you've already done step 1, which given your pool I don't think anyone would begrudge you :)

Kenji has been researching Lord Gorobei for the last few days and thinks he's a good candidate for Emperor so he's happy to help.

Probably best for Parts 3 and/or 4 as needed?

Shingo can reasonably do any of the stages that allow a Courtier roll - kinda want to do the Etiquette roll in part 5 for fluff reasons - but he's best to do part 2: with void he's 7k5 on the TN 20, and I'd love for those points in lore Law to get used. :D

I'd say go for it on Part 2 then :)

I'll take care of it. Happy to help on a later stage as well if needed.

I can help. But honestly, the only ones I have a decent shot at is the Etquiette ones. 7/4 with VOID.

Ryusei has never met the guy... but might find it to his advantage to do so here

Part 2 complete. Not so obnoxious of a roll that Shingo broke Hanako's spirit, but she did get about three generations worth of "have you seen how they're keeping their hedges!?"

Might wanna check with the gms if that toasts it then. My reading was that any fail scrubbed the event, but it didn't look like there was a limit to the number of people who could do a step.

There is about 5 minutes' difference between the rolls; I am inclined to think that Ryusei did intend to post the failure, but that Shingo got in there before him. That's good enough for me.
