New Court Procedure

Having given it some thought, we will be doing the following for court:

1) For each remaining court day, there will be a sign-up thread in OOC chat where you may post that you wish to submit a deal, offering, or what have you.
2) You may (and should) post ghost introductions to your personal fora.
3) When a debate has ended, I will look at the sign-up sheet, go to a personal forum, and post the introduction to the next debate on the list (assuming that you don't beat me to it).
4) If you do not have a ghost post, you will be skipped and go to the end of the line.

If a sign-up sheet starts getting crazy long, consider whether it is worth your time and effort to get ready for a debate that we might not get to and perhaps wait for another auspicious day.

Positives: People can prepare interventions on debates they know are coming, potentially racking up more court points.
Negatives: There's a little artifice to this, but it's how Parliament does it, and that's sort of worked for a while.

Other things Parliament does: Bringing out the Funk, Having/Possessing the Funk, Requiring the Possession/Having of the Funk.

Not so much a hard rule as a suggestion:

If you get a cool idea for a substantive debate [That's to say, not a treaty debate, but something bigger and more weighty like today's Peace Debate, which I think we can all agree was a cool idea], then it may be wisest to wait to post that debate on the first Irl day of an IC Day. Those tend to be when people are most active, so you'll get the most traction. Plus, if you have your intro posted to your pf the night before dayflip, Fukurokujin and I may be able to prepare more shenanigans for it. Just an idea, but I think it will help.
