Court today is presided over by Hida Kozume, who is extremely good at killing, but not the great at court. His Court Actions TN is 16. He is a Hida Bushi/Defender of the Wall. Yes, I know there is no Wall. He's just that cool.

EDIT: We actually have a Fox/Crab deal ready to go, I'd misunderstood something!

Centipede/Crab and Scorpion/Crab still both need to go through the Daimyo talks that are being held on D10, but should likely be good to go today as well.

Also - given the weight of what we started with, which will likely need a good deal of OOC discussion, might I ask we keep Eiji's suggestion up for discussion for at least a full OOC day or so?

I can only point out that people have a lot they want to get through court, and that there are only 3 court days after this one. This is a serious proposal, certainly, but it seems to me legitimate that a person without full access to the fact that Ikoma and Seppun samurai died in defense of the castle would feel the need to make such a proposal. In the grand scheme of things I believe it can be resolved relatively efficiently and with no loss of PC life (however much Sayomi would like to take the fall). Of course, there is no guarantee that you guys will approach this in a way that allows that kind of resolution, but it is very possible.

I must reserve the right to advance the court when I feel that there is a need to do so, however. Currently, I have one ghosted treaty proposal and several suggestions that more may be on the way, which suggests to me that we can take our time for the moment, but I am conscious that there are only 3 effective court days after this one. If more ghosted proposals appear, then I will resolve this measure more quickly.
