One Rule to Bind Them...

We understand that some PCs, being prodigies and precocious and preeminent, may seem a bit young. Some are, in fact, still underage by standards current to the conduct of the game. While "historical" samurai might well have been betrothed, married, sexually active irrespective of marital status, and even parents, just as contemporary underage persons may well be sexually active and even parents, we are not "historical," and the game takes place in a world of fiction that does not--and should not in all respects--conform to "history." For such reasons, among others, the following:

DO NOT DEPICT, EVEN IN A "/FTB" MANNER, SEXUAL CONDUCT INVOLVING A PERSON OR CHARACTER UNDER EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE.

This is not meant to single anyone out; the game has not yet started, so nobody's done anything wrong yet. We just want to make sure this line does not get crossed, for the comfort and safety of all members of our player base.

And, yes, we understand that the age of consent in many countries is younger than that of the United States, and that the age is not consistent across the United States, but as the depiction of these things may impact lives and livelihoods, we do have to insist on eighteen years of age for this.
