[D1, EA, Closed] Help!

Post by Cearnach » Fri Jan 03, 2025 4:10 pm

The yoriki of the Emerald Office in Ikoma's Eye understood this was going to be a busy time. You can't have this many samurai in one place without someone ruining someone else's day. When that happens, more times than not, the law gets called in.

They weren't expecting anything this soon, though. And no one was more surprised than they when the rider arrived, dusty, road-weathered, asking to see the magistrate.

A short time after the rider entered the office, he emerged with the Magistrate in tow.

"Saddle my horse," she commanded, "I'm off for Drunk Warbler Village. Immediately." She pointed at two of her yoriki. "You both are coming with me. We're gone in an hour. Pack light. Don't skimp on arrows."

She turned back to the rider. "You'll wait in the yard. Water your horse. I need to put some things in order."

And in an hour's time, saddled up and with fresh horses, the law rode out of town.

The /scene indicator suggests that a thread has been completed in full. You can do that to your threads, too! Incidentally, you may wish to read this thread: it has an important piece of information.
