Once the captive would-be assassin was secured in the Emerald Office Sae had practically stormed in. She didn't particularly enjoy interrogations (and wouldn't trust anyone who did) but the man had murdered good people and then tried to kill more.

She was not feeling particularly forgiving today.

Sae's first questions are fairly straightforward:

- "Who are you?"
- "Who hired you?"
- "Where did you come from?"

She'd strongly prefer if the guy just told her.

"Now, I have a few more questions Aoki-san. Can you try and think clearly for me?"

- Is there anything you can remember about the mysterious 'this guy'?
- How were you going to get paid? (was it all upfront? Half now half later?)

"I'm not sure that I'm gonna have a whole lot of interests after today. But sure, doesn't do me any more harm than's already gonna be done."

"I will do what I can. At least this way you are helping bring the ultimate culprit to justice."

Turning to the guards.
"Do not let anyone in who does not wear Emerald, regardless of rank. He is not to receive food or drink that has not been tasted. Whoever ordered this foulness may be panicking, and that could lead to more foolishness. I will be relying on you."

[Cearnach]

The Hida nodded slowly. "I can stonewall with the best of 'em, Daidoji-sama. Don't you worry."
