At the conclusion of the day's courts, Shiori would take a momentary aside to visit the Old Man's Stump. She had come here a few times but some of her enjoyment had been sapped with attending to the sumo business. After a short time, she had admittedly lost track of the sport. Perhaps if she was a long-time fan before, she would have a better footing?

She returned here for lunch and a leisurely lark, wanting to be away from the strict confines of court. Her current company at the counter consisted of a bottle of weak sake and an onigiri so that she wouldn't be drinking on an empty stomach. After the incident at the banquet, she had to be doubly careful.
