“Ah, lovely!” Mariko clasped her hands together in delight as the fourth sake bottle joined its brothers on the table, a wide smile on her face. A single cup sat in front of her, but her hands remained steady as she refilled it, raised it up in salute of her host, and knocked it back.

“Kampai! Excellent sake, barkeep!” Refilling her cup, she raised it in salute of the other guests of the bar before knocking it back as well.

“Mmmm...delicious.”
