She blinks with some surprise before easing into a friendly smile, "ah, I 'spose that would make things easier." She liked Aiko and did want to help the Fox the best she could.

Maybe she felt some sort of connection to them because her house did technically live on the land that the Ki-rin had left, and the Fox were descendants of the Ki-rin.

2 units jade
3 units iron

"Ifn' y' know who all's got any o' that."

It was a pity the Lion were all out of copper themselves after all the trading was said and done.

"The Lion could promise copper for next winter court, but it wouldn't be much help with your current needs," sadly. "Crab and Scorpion could fulfill your need for dyes and jade, last I heard," which could be out of date information, "if not... the Tortoise perhaps?"

Sayomi wasn't sure who Aiko had been talking with.

"Hadn't talked w' Izumi," Aiko says. "Maybe oughta do that afore court ends."

She nods.

"Thanks much, Kitsu-san!" she adds.

"I'm happy to be of assistance to you, Kitsune-sama. It's my hope that as many as possible can have their needs met this winter," she says, bowing her head respectfully.

"That there is kind of you," Aiko says. "Good t' see in th' world."
