The market of Kyuden Ikoma may not quite be the size of the Fields of Gold in Ryoko Owari, but as the primary grain and livestock trading hub in the Western Empire it has an almost manic energy about it. Upwind from the stockyards, stalls for everyday needs and clothing eventually give way (in the direction of the Castle) to storefronts selling quality wares worthy of a samurai.

While Ikoma's Eye is famous for its hardware and booksellers, regulars to the city will know that there are fewer artisan potters in the market this year. Fine ceramic statues and teapots are still largely available, but the artisan storage pots seem to have given way to workmanlike, almost standardized (but significantly cheaper) pottery.

Rules
You can find almost any mundane object for sale in the Market of Ikoma's Eye. Weapons are somewhat more expensive than normal (add a bu to each weapon's listed cost), but arrows are still in good supply. Food is cheaper that average (subtract 5 zeni from any food costs in this market, minimum one).

When roleplaying in the market, please do not feel as though you need to have a gm roleplaying NPC merchants. You can handle that bit of writing for yourself and your friends. We may choose to intervene if you touch on a story element somewhere along the way, but mostly we are content to see what you choose to do with this space.
