Yuna was seated at a writing desk in the public space of Dragon House. She had her calligraphy supplies out.

She began to write in meticulous detail an account of the outfits worn to the gift giving on the first day of court, and at the first open court session on the second day. Her precise memory helped her provide a faithful account, highlighting what was worn by each person in order of precedence beginning with the Empress. It takes all the time she has before her next meeting to record.

And she had some other rather exciting news to convey also!

The cover letter began:

Dear Kaiya-sama,

I wish you could be here!

As promised, I have paid keen attention to the fashion. I here enclose a faithful account of all that you would have seen had you been here, so that you may stay entirely up-to-date.

I am sure Uncle Toma will enjoy the detail of the jewelry worn and that the two of you will find pleasure discussing all that is fashionable now and sure to be in the future.

And I have the most wonderful news also to share! A hope still in progress. But I hope you will join your prayers to mine that the venture may find Heaven's blessing.
