It was going to be a long, long, long day. She considered sleeping earlier like she did the previous day but that would mean missing the Lion sanctioned court event and she couldn't miss that. Plus there was the wager, and she couldn't miss that... and there wasn't enough time between each of those!
That was future Honoka's problem though. Current Honoka had to meet with her champion, and after arranging that she went to locate where Sanae was.

"Ikoma-san, please come in." Akodo Sanae was sitting at her table, a sheaf of papers at her side. "What business do we have together this morning?"

Honoka smiled and bowed, then approached and took out a scroll.
"Good morning Akodo-dono, I hope you are well? Forgive me for any interruptions, however I wanted to bring the results of my discussion with the Boar for approval. They are able to provide us with the remaining arms and iron we need to meet our Winter requirements."

"Hai Akodo-dono" Honoka handed over the scroll "Heichi-sama was very interested in the Ikoma dojos, being a young clan still learning their way in the political world of Rokugan. After some discussion, we agreed in 3 places with the Ikoma Omoidasu dojo in trade for the resources."
(ooc: Boar give: 3 Arms 1 Iron
Lion give: 3 places in Ikoma Bards school)

"Heichi-san was generous, but this deal is not without advantage to him as well. You concluded an admirable exchange, Ikoma-san. Well done."

Honoka sat up slightly straighter at the praise.
"Thank you Akodo-dono! I believe with this and the other deals our kin has arranged we've nearly met our requirements for this winter season. I've been blessed to have a great delegation to learn from and grow with, and the story of court is not yet done either."
