Jihen's cycles and circuits continued on in one great round.

Skies to Scrolls... Scrolls to Skies...

And today was a scrolls-day.

In the fading light of evening he spent his time looking up the records the monks of this temple kept on plagues, earthquakes, and other ill omens.

As Fortunists they were sure to have different rituals... esoteric and not... to help appease the root causes of these calamities. Jihen looked for what he could that would help in that matter and give him something to report to the Lady Seppun about his meditations.

Jihen will find that a number of the scrolls dealing with such things are out in circulation. Some of those he is able to consult appear to reference scrolls not presently in evidence about some treatments coming from plants provided by the Scorpion. One points to an uptick in naval activities in the months preceding the plague.

Jihen finds it interesting that such things should be out of the temple... but begins to see that it must means there are others who are already on the case.

That gives him reassurance... it is not him alone that is feeling this increase in disharmony.
