Ryushi had somehow forgotten to come to the temples and offer his prayers the previous day. He thought he would find some solace in this place but he just know the loneliness of his heart. He sat in seiza and offered some of the incense that was offered in the entrance of the temple. A festival to Musubi no kami...I doubt the blessing of set fortune will come to me soon. He stood up and continued visiting the different shrines.

Looking equally despondent, a rather famous figure occupies a stretch of wall not far away and glowers at the festival. It figured, a festival about love and family and no love or family to be had for Tatsuya. Cue the sad trombones.

Yuna arrived at the library to get some research done before court began. The festival decorations had all been arranged. The main activity would occur after court.

Today, she wanted to fully under how the treatment of the social classes had changed under Hantei Ningi. Under the First Hantei, matters had been fluid. The shift to the rule by the Children of Sun and Moon was not swift, and the First War did much to slow its progress. Too, under Hantei II Genji, matters took time to solidify, with much of his early reign taken up with rebuilding from the First War. Many of the Kami remained present, so there were still people swearing to them who in later years might not have been called samurai. It was not until NIngi that the divisions became as firm as they are now, with movement between them by Imperial decree rather than a broader acceptance by more parties than just that upon the Throne.
