After court, Sayomi turned to the libraries of the Ikoma with a purpose. It wasn't her first time there, and she was allowed entry without trouble. She made sure to stay clear of the active investigations of the Emerald Magistrates.

Through the stacks of history, she searched out something more related to political history, in other cases where a family member might have to step in to become daimyo under special circumstances. Anything that could lend credibility and credence to Kitsune Aiko's unique goal.

There are some precedents for removing a leader for cause. Dereliction of duty. Illness that prevents the leader from resigning themselves. Reassignment by higher leadership yet. A smattering of each in the records.
