Wrestling a deal from a Badger (Day 11 EN)

[Ichiro Himari]

This time, Himari does not rush in, but slides in more carefully, thinking the Hiruma will be wiser to his tactics this time. It makes him more hesitant, but he still slaps meaty hands on the Hiruma, moving in for what looks like a throw some might call osotogari.

[Hiruma Daichi]

Daichi was wiser to what the man was attempting, but other than just slowly moving away and keep his distance there was not much he could do against the stronger manwith much more wrestling experience than he. Sometimes you just had to roll with the falls.

[Ichiro Himari]

Himari's leg, more like the trunk of a tree than the limb of a man, catches both of Daichi's, and once again, he finds himself on the ground.

Himari rolls through the throw, regains his feet, turns and bows.

"Honestly," he says, "I'm glad to have someone to play with. Most here have taken one look and found other partners."

[Hiruma Daichi]

"You don't improve from picking only the easy opponents." Daichi replied as he rose to his feet, rolling his shoulders a few times almost like he was ready for more. "If I'd know you were looking for an opponent I would have met you sooner though. I might not be able to help you do anything but keep in practice."

"But I can likely pick up a few things along the way which may be useful later." He paused thoughtfully. "That seems a bit of an unfair arrangement though, so I'd owe you some sake or something if that's how it worked out."

[Ichiro Himari]

"The practice itself's a help," Himari says. "A drink after's not a bad thing, though."

He grins.

"My sempai used to recommend soaking bruises in sake," he adds. "I remember, when I was much younger, asking how a bath in booze would help. He looked at me, shook his head, and said 'It's from the inside!'"

He laughs.

[Hiruma Daichi]

Daichi laughed and shook his head. "A wise man."

"A good drink can help with a lot of things." Of course they were always easy to find, there was a sake house in town that supposed to be worth visiting though. Maybe he'd have to stop in.

[Ichiro Himari]

"Long as you don't overdo it, yeah," Himari agrees.

"I hear good things about the Old Man's Stump, for that," he adds. "I'd imagine the Tortoise and Mantis boats have a lot to offer, too."

[Hiruma Daichi]

There would probably be quite a bit of trouble mixed up in the boats too. So Daichi was going to have to pass there.

"I don't have the tendency to over do things, especially considering we're we are. I'll keep that in mind though."

[Ichiro Himari]

"I hope so," Himari says. "You look like you could stand to loosen up."

He gives a short bow. "Do let me know how discussion with your people goes, won't you?"

[Hiruma Daichi]

"I'll send you a note in a day or two with the results." He replied with a polite bow. "I imagine it will go through smoothly though."

[Ichiro Himari]

"Excellent!"

Himari turns to bow himself out of the dojo.

"Until then, be well, Hiruma-san."

[Hiruma Daichi]

"Be well ichiro-san." Daichi returned along with a bow.
