[Agasha Yuna]

"Is it a shrine to a particular Fortune?"

[Daidoji Ryu]

"To Benten." Ryu said. Then his lips quirked. "Well, actually at the request of one of our Asahina, there will also be a shrine to Emma-O. I'm sure I mean no disrespect when I suggest that one of those will be more popular than the other."

He inclined again. "In any case, I was speaking of the shrine to Benten. My cousin is to be married in the spring. I expect there are those with similar matches, or who are hoping for them."

[Agasha Yuna]

She smiled.

"I am very pleased to know the location of a shrine to Benten."

"And you? Are you married already? Looking for marriage?"

[Daidoji Ryu]

"I... am not married, no." Ryu said. Then hesitated. There was a pause.

After a few moments, he smiled, just a little, with a wry twist. "I suppose every samurai of a certain age is looking for marriage. Some are just more..." He paused again. "My own search has stalled a bit. I think with my cousin safely engaged now, mine can be seen to."

[Agasha Yuna]

She nodded.

"Perhaps other delegates will have siblings, and you will find introductions that lead to a harmonious pairing. Or your cousin has something in mind. She may wish to make arrangements that allow you to stay close to her, since it sounds like you provide a valuable service."

[Daidoji Ryu]

Ryu smiled, just a little. "I know my cousin would like to arrange something. And I think, that if she had something in mind, she would let me know. She knows I don't like big surprises. Of course, that doesn't mean she doesn't try from time to time."

He tilted his chin up, looking at Yuna. For a long, long moment, it looked as though he was about to say something. But then his lips pressed together; whatever it was had gone.

"It's late. I shall let you turn in." Ryu bowed once more. "Have a good night, Agasha-sama."

[Agasha Yuna]

She bowed to him.

"A pleasure to meet you, Daidoji-san. Thank you for the company."
