Eiji considered that.

"Hmmm, perhaps, Agasha-san. I can see working to unite the winds to engage in such an act. I think, for example, Seppun-sama would be easy to convince to do such. And I can see three other winds being relatively easy to persuade." he mused. "However, I think you will need overwhelming evidence to convince Otomo Keihime-sama to work towards this."

She nodded.

And that was a good summary of why it was perhaps best Otomo-sama *not* become Empress.

"Something to consider as there is anything to report."

"It would be good if they worked on something together. They will all remain, when the decision is made. I hope they can collectively support whoever ascends." She paused and then looked a little sheepish. "That's probably another chance to tell me I'm a bit foolish and naive. But it would be good. Wouldn't it?"

Eiji shook his head.

"Ie, I don't think so. I mean, I think it depends on whom becomes Empress. I think Seppun-sama would probably simply let them all return to where they were...though perhaps not Tatsuya-sama. I could actually see Doji-sama seeking to better utilize all four of the other winds. She strikes me as the type who is very skilled at bringing people together and wanting them all to work together to a better future." he theorized.

"Should one of the Otomos or the ronin strand truimphant....I struggle seeing them treating the others as more than defeated rivals. More pledges to renounce the throne and support the throne alone."

"Seppun-sama is a good listener. He would hear their perspectives. Their wisdom. If they wanted to participate."

"But I agree that Doji-sama seems admirable also."
