[Day 4, EA] Court: The Galleries

[Hiruma Daichi]

Daichi looked around the area, his eyes at last landing on who he was looking for. The Mantis and Crab shared an Origin, both clans being descendants of Hida. Though the Mantis were formed after a question of who would take over the running of the clan, which had caused no end of tension at the time.

Still, it would not do to spend the court and not visiting them, so Daichi made his way over to greet the Lord of the Mantis. "Lord Gusai. Could I have a moment of your time?"

[Gusai Rioshida]

"Certainly, Hiruma-san!" Lord Gusai replied, a touch too loud for a court situation. "Lead the way!"

[Bayushi Kaguya]

The Mirumoto smiled at his Clan Champion after the announcement from the Empress. Then he moved swiftly, setting an elliptical path that took him around a couple of groups before stopping a proper distance from a red splash of courtiers.

"Bayushi-ue, this humble servant of the Dragon wishes to partake of your company if you would deign to look kindly upon him." Jinkan gave a smart bow and then waited, still bowed.

The eyes behind the mask are slightly widened, though the trembling that sometimes accompanies shock is absent from the extremities. Perhaps Jinkan has caught Lady Bayushi out of her natural habitat.

"Um...alright, Mirumoto-san."

[Hiruma Daichi]

"Certainly, Hiruma-san!" Lord Gusai replied, a touch too loud for a court situation. "Lead the way!"

Daichi nodded and moved to a corner of the court room so they could talk.

[Yasuki Masaki]

Masaki was there, again in her carp-patterned kimono with a white background. She would stay mostly close to the crab delegation today.

[Otomo Gorobei]

The doors to court opened wide, admitting a small gaggle of junior Imperials surrounding a square-built, solid-looking man in a tall black hat. From the hall outside, calls and shouting can be heard as samurai and servant are galvanized by his presence.

He looks left, he looks right, he strides up to the edge of the floor and folds his arms, his head held high.

Lord Gorobei had arrived.

[Doji Hikaru]

The doors to court opened wide, admitting a small gaggle of junior Imperials surrounding a square-built, solid-looking man in a tall black hat. From the hall outside, calls and shouting can be heard as samurai and servant are galvanized by his presence.

He looks left, he looks right, he strides up to the edge of the floor and folds his arms, his head held high.

Lord Gorobei had arrived.

"Gorobei-sama" Hikaru carefully bows. "It is good to see you in Court. Some worried that you would be inevitably delayed "

Gorobei returned the bow, if somewhat more shallowly.

"Well, where there's good samurai to help it grow, there's no force on earth can contain a mighty oak."

[Doji Hikaru]

"Sometimes a poem helps" Hikaru cryptically smiles. "But one does enjoy when that oak rips free of its tethers" His eyes flit to two particular faces in the gallery, especially Otomo Tooru. "A great deal of enjoyment"
