Talking to a Shiba (D2 EA)

[Jihen]

“I would be honored. There is much of the world I wish to see… and the Phoenix provinces are high on the list.”

He smiles, “My duties at the Temples often keep me rather busy, but perhaps in a few years. By then there may be little feet running about your floors. A new generation of hospitable family members.”

[Shiba Ryusei]

"Yes, that is the hope, isn't it?"

And he had such hopes, but he didn't quite dare speak them aloud. Not yet.

"And just think of what they could teach you while you taught the older folks..."

[Jihen]

“I’ve already mastered inane babbling and poor physical balance. What else could I learn?” He replies with a smile.

[Shiba Ryusei]

"If my younger siblings are anything to go by from when they were little, absolute candor and a gift for sneaking snacks out of the kitchen..."

[Jihen]

“A house of thieves is it then?” He replies warmly.

“I shall have to make ‘allies in the shadows’ then.” He bows kindly.

“I have taken up too much time as it is. Thank you so much for speaking with me. I hope we will have opportunity to do so again.”

[Shiba Ryusei]

"Candid thieves, the most useless kind!"

He chuckled.

"It has been my pleasure... Carry the Fortunes, Jihen-san."

[Jihen]

“Until we meet again Shiba-sama.” Jihen bows politely to the other man and makes his way back to his original position.
