Following Lady Shiba's fiery denouncement that ended the court session, Yasuki Ryoichi found his way over to Tatsuya.

"Well, I suppose that it was too much to hope for this session to settle anything," the Yasuki said, shaking his head. "Tatsuya-san, I think it might be a good idea for us to leave, before anyone decides the time for talk is over and gets some wild notion to settle the succession in another way."

Tatsuya looked around the room at the shock and dismay crossing the faces of each courtier.

"I agree. Let's go. Immediately."

With a firm nod, Yasuki Ryoichi kept an eye on the crowd as the two of them made their exit.
