"Of course, Hiruma-san! How else will I secure prosperity for my clan with the Tortoise all over my back?"

You can't be absolutely certain, but you figure a reasonable person might conclude from body language and context clues that Gusai Rioshida has a problem with the Tortoise.

It certainly did seem likely, but it could just be his imagination. "That is the question." He agreed, hiding any surprise over how open the man was about the problems his clan was facing. If only all meeting could be like this.

"Maybe we could get together somewhere a bit quieter and chat about how the Crab can help secure that prosperity?"

"That'd sure be nice. My son tells me that it's been a pleasure to work with you fellas in the past. And we could sure use the help, now."

"Maybe tomorrow then?" He asked, unaware that with the death of the Empress that much would come to a screeching halt. "Our place or yours, unless you want to meet at a tea house?"

He wasn't sure where else they'd go.
