A match made in breakfast. (Day 9 Mid Morning, Open)

[Hiruma Daichi]

"Marriage discussions are ongoing between the Crab and the Scorpion, as well as the Crab and the Fox. I believe Yasuki-san mentioned a possible match with the Kasuga as well. We have yet to broach the subject there though." Daichi replied, relived a bit as the rice fell from her lip.

[Otomo Mariko]

"Ah, yes," Mariko says. "Kasuga-ke no kashin Maruhira Mineko. Young and yet to make a grand name for herself, if I recall dossiers, but with a good command of household management. There are some as would value such qualities in a spouse."

[Hiruma Daichi]

"True enough." Daichi replied, in a lot of ways such a woman would fill some of his requirements as well. "I think we have several who could make a good match for her if she's not already spoken for."

[Otomo Mariko]

"She is listed as eligible for marriage," Mariko says. "I have not been told that she is being assigned to one, and I think Kasuga Izumi would, in fact, let me know if so much were the case.

"But, if you think, Hiruma-san, that she would be a better fit for you, and Miya-san for Yasuki-san, then that sort of thing can be arranged, and with ease."

[Hiruma Daichi]

"We will see how things go." Daichi replied with a shrug. "I know that Yasuki-san plans to talk to the Tortoise soon, and I'm planning to talk with him and Kitsu-san as well. I also plan to try and talk to Miya-dono about some other matters, so I can bring up the topic of Miya-san then."

"I'll keep that arrangement in mind though as I go about my dealings."

Then there was the Scorpion deal to finalize and the Badger as well. All and all he had his hands more then full.

[Otomo Mariko]

"Well, Hiruma-san," Mariko says, "if I can be of help, please do let me know."

She takes a sip of her tea. "It is, after all, only my duty."

[Hiruma Daichi]

"I'll make sure to consult you should I have the need Otomo-sama." He replied with a polite dip of his head.

"As it is you've already given me alot to think on."

[Otomo Mariko]

Mariko returns the bow.

"I shall look forward to it," she says.
