[Doji Shinnosuke]

"Oh, well, you're right, growing flowers can be a real vocation. With its own peaks and valleys of excellence, I guess." Shin sits up a bit straighter, possibly coming to the same realization as Daichi about wet hair before he sinks any deeper into the water. Also, it's no good getting too relaxed and sleepy before court. He splashes some of the hot water over his shoulders with his hands instead. "It's always seemed like an old man's kind of hobby to me, though. Slow. Always waiting for something to happen on its own time. I'm patient, but I want to be doing something, you know?"

[Hiruma Daichi]

"Not much of a fan of Bonsai either then?" He asked his tone making it obvious he was joking. The Crab straightened up in the water, part of him wanted to duck his head under its surface and see how long he could stay under. That was most assuredly for children though.

"I understand though. I prefer to be up and doing too. Kinda why I'm in the infantry and not a scout." Scouts took a bit more patience than he had. "You can move around a lot as a scout but there is also a lot of time you need to wait patiently."

[Doji Shinnosuke]

"I have great appreciation for the artistry of other people's bonsai," Shin says, in the sort of tone a happily childless uncle might use to tell you he appreciates other people staying up all night with babies.

He sighs and lets himself bob in the water. "As for being up and doing... I suppose it's close to time to go and dress for Court, isn't it? Would you care to continue this conversation another time, Hiruma-san? Maybe with clothes. Although, you know... optional, if you prefer not." Was that a wink?

[Hiruma Daichi]

Was it a wink? It was hard to tell, hot baths and all. "I suppose we will just have to see hoe thing work out there."

"But yes, we could meet again another time." He added a moment later. "Court waits for no man, or so I understand it, and they probably want us dressed our bath there, not in yukata's fresh out of a bath."

[Doji Shinnosuke]

((Apologies, end of the week really ate my brains!))

"That would certainly be a change of pace!" Shinnosuke grins as he begins, somewhat reluctantly, levering himself out of the nice hot water. "Perhaps someone should suggest it later in the season, when everyone is really weary of court dress."

[Hiruma Daichi]

"Warmer weather would be a boon for that." Daichi agreed with a nod before moving to leave the baths himself. "Would nice if there were some good views too. Something to look at that's not just the walls of the courtroom."

[Doji Shinnosuke]

"Now we're planning a regular countryside excursion," Shinnosuke laughs, toweling off. "Only the second day of the court, and already ready to escape?"

[Hiruma Daichi]

"I'm just more used to open spaces." Daichi replied with a shrug. "Not nessacarily ready to escape quite yet though."

"Though I admit I hoped there would be a hunt arranged this season."

[Doji Shinnosuke]

"I've heard the Ikoma have a fine hunting preserve, too," Shin muses. "I'm not much of a marksman, but I do like a good ride. Hmm." He smiles as he starts putting on his clothing--not the full court costume, he'll return to the Crane house to get suited up that way, just ordinary (but fine) garments for now. "If the Ikoma won't organize something, perhaps we could just go riding on our own some morning. I'm sure the castle stables could spare a horse if you haven't brought yours." He assumes. Probably.

[Hiruma Daichi]

"I took a boat here." He answered. "They weren't too fond of the idea of a horse on board as well as me either. Had to be one or the other." Daichi joked as he got dressed, his clothes were not nearly as fine as the Cranes but more than likely what he planned to wear to court.

"To be honest though, I'm a member of the Infantry. Though I do ride from time to time it's not something I do on the regular. A ride still sounds like a nice idea though. If I can't get the Ikoma to host a hunt."
