To Doji Hikaru

<A letter with careful but unexceptional penmanship, tied with a thin blue cord, and with a small sprig of pine attached>
To the most excellent Doji Hikaru of House Ikehara,
I am called Yasuki Ryoichi, and I am reliably informed that we both will be in attendance at Winter Court this season. As the seat of your House is very near to that of my own, in the interests of being good neighbors I felt it might be appropriate to make early introductions. I admire the naval efforts of your House and I am sure we will have much to talk about. I look forward to making your acquaintance at court.
Regards,
Yasuki Ryoichi
