First, and most importantly, thank you for playing!
Second, what turn that Hikaru took was your favorite, and why?

Please Fill Out Form Questions A through 13, and submit them in triplicate...
1. Did Hikaru change much from concept to execution?
2. Biggest curveball the game threw you?
3. Biggest curveball Hikaru threw you?
4. PC you missed interacting with that you wish Hikaru had logged some time with?

As a combo answer: hes a little bit. I built him as a duelist, with the idea that he might be the kind of person who was actually in RP thread: someone you threw to goad someone into a duel to send a message. But he just...didn't play that way. I wish he had gotten to know some of the Crab a bit better but things really didn't seem to click.

For me, the turn was the Keihime's flex. That won him a lot of loyalty to Noriko and enmity to Keihime and a big chunk became about that.

Director's Cut Question: Think back on the game as a whole. If you could go back, and add just one more scene with our characters in it, what would it be? What are they doing/talking about?

Would Hikaru have felt differently about Keihime if she hadn't done her flex then?
Hikaru seemed very different from characters I've seen you play before. Would you say he was a challenge because of that or a welcome change of pace?

I think he would have disliked her for mostly being in opposition, but that really calcified it.
And yes, Hikaru was breaking a lot of trends for me: first Crane, first duelist. I had to really think about how he would fit into the new setting and the end result was surprising and I think I might want to play into this more.

I'd want to dig in deeper to that duel event. I feel like something was there, but I couldn't feel the hook and then I had a rough week and by then it was too late to really dig.

Well, what I *can* say is the Ikoma is a member of the house Eiji married out of. She approached him at the start of the game, and told him to befriend the Akodo and then she'd do....something. She was a pretty awful person who had slain the Akodo's sister. Akodo was a pretty lovable goofball, but may have been less so once he learned my family connections.
