Aiko and Akane were also real fun, I think more than expected even. They gained a place in Masaki's heart, den of vipers or not XD

Unfortunately, I didn't get to interact with Masaki as much as I wanted to. However, thank you very much for roping me in some parts of the game whenever you could and also helping me make sense of a few things. Masaki most certainly earned the awe of Shiori with what she managed to accomplished in court!

Yeah, as someone who was dealing with a terrible round of the flu at the start of this game, your post count impressed me a lot! +1 to Shiori's meme.

Thanks for playing with us even as life was busy. I much enjoyed watching Masaki in action, and it seemed like she and Sayomi both had a soft spot for the minor clans.

Was there a challenge in playing a Yasuki in a time where it wasn't that long ago that the family was part of the Crane clan and trying to fit in with the Crab?
Which Wind had Masaki's support in the end? The Crab in general seemed to be very "wait and see" on the matter.

It was great to be in a clan with Masaki. I know you put in a lot of effort for team Crab and I appreciate it. I'm terrible at questions though, so I won't poke them.

I always enjoyed reading your posts. I think you had one of the best ideas on D15.

I wish you'd gotten good rolls during our economic meet-up so you could have really weighed in and provided good advice. The dice roller is cruel sometimes!

I thought Masaki was great, and I appreciate all that she did for Team Crab!

One thing I was curious about: which sumo wrestlers was she lobbying? I was pretty sure Masaki was quietly doing rolls in the sumo tournament and I was trying to pick wrestlers I didn't think she was working on, but not sure how successful that was.

Ok, slow and steady...

1. Not *much*, I guess, but a bit. She was supposed to come across as less trustworthy - the kind of person you feel is nice, but you're never too sure whether she's being nice or pulling your leg. I ended up leaning more towards the 'nice' angle and I feel that layer got lost a bit, among work on treaties, RL getting crazy and so on. But I think I found a voice, sort of, so that's good!

2. Hm. I guess there are some possibilities here, but I'm not sure I know how to put it in words. I guess you could say it was the amount of stuff I felt I *had* to do due to goals, resources, things NPCs asked (which I felt Masaki would care about), and the like. There were other things towards the end, but let's go with that

3. Masaki herself... I guess more or less what I said in 1. I didn't want her to be all 'kind and trustworthy', and yet things tried to develop in that way. I hope at least some of the 'less than 100% forthcoming' came through.
Oh! And food. That ended up coming into play earlier than I'd thought it would, but then it never went as bad as I thought it could.
She's allergic, to a very specific and awkward ingredient. Thankfully it never showed up in her food, although I did have some scenes with her being too careful with food (and Akane did find it weird XD)
Oh! One more. Status 1 and trying to marry. That just didnt work! XD

4. Many, really. I feel I didnt manage to interact with other PCs as much as I'd like to - and I say that despite the 1000+ posts, which I think is a record for me! I think it's a bit as Daichi said - lots of work on deals and organisation and talking to NPCs to do things I felt I *had* to get done, and thst got in the way of RP a bit.

5. Oh, I feel she's gon be that one pokemon you keep from evolving just for the sake of having one of each pokedex entry XD Or maybe she'll *marry* a dragon eventually. Who knows?

6. Hmmm not sure. Other than generally more RP. I had the idea of maybe trying to convince Matsu Tsuruyo to help the Crab in the fight against the SL since she wants a war so bad, but could never really get around to thinking of how that could be done in a way that might make sense, so maybe that?

7. This is a hard one! There were many fun scenes I ended up dropping or slowing down too much... I guess I'll go with a pair: Masaki and Shiori drinking at the Old Man's Stump in the EE while trying to find out stuff about sumo, then Masaki and Sae drinking (more) in the exact same joint in the LN later the same day

Shiori was a good "partner in Crab"!
I guess I did still get a good deal done even while busy... although I actually did just disappear in some days! (D3, D14 and D15 were especially hard to follow!)

I think this is still my most active game though. I guess a spree of activity in the first days paved the way for that, would have to give it some thought!

It was fun to share some scenes with Shiori and work with her in some things. The Art Festival joint production was real fun too!

Wish we'd had more opportunity to RP - I think both of us were hoping for more 'shades of grey' in our PCs, would have been fun to see that develop. Next time, maybe!

The soft spot for the MCs probably comes a bit from my own personal leanings

But Masaki did go all in on 'strength through collaboration[/i], so trying to work together with all MCs definitely made sense as part of that! Wish we'd had more time to RP - I feel Sayomi would be an interesting counterpart to Masaki, and maybe someone she'd find 'too honest, too nice' XD

On Crane relationship - it ended up being less of a challenge than I thought it would. That was in fact one of the reasons why she went all in on peace - thr Yasuki war is just around the corner, and her House trying to keep decent ties with the Crane was part of her background. The pregame ties with Hoshiko and Sae helped with establishing some connection with the Crane, but I somehow expected some pushback from the Crab that never really showed up that much.

I *did* get some pushback from Rioshida on that, but it wasn't as bad as it could be I guess XD

As for the winds...

... what's your guess?

It was good times indeed! Lots of work, sometimes maybe even too much, but team crab was a delight to work with. Thanks a lot, hope we can work together again in a future game!

Thank you as well! I guess we did manage to make that connection show up here and there too. I wish we'd had more scenes together, but what we had was fun

(And I ended up using trinkets quite a but more I guess! XD)

Plague conference does sounds possible! I ended up not finding too much headspace to think about things on D14 and D15, but it sounds like a likely thing she'd try to do. So... yeah, I'll headcanon that!

Masaki would have tried harder to convince Eiji to put his stories down to paper and publish them, I guess. (And profit from it if possible, or course )

I wish we'd had more RP time to discuss ideas, economic and otherwise! Yuna was real interesting to read, it's a shame we couldn't interact more!

And yeah... I didn't expect that fail But hey, it made for a fun scene trying to roleplay 'wait, somethjng doesn't feel right, but I don't know what!'

And it gave me a venue to roleplay her mommy issues (which showed up here and there, but could have appeared more!) so I see that as a win XD

Ryoichi was real fun as well! As I said, team crab was a delight! We had one single misunderstanding and argument in court, and it ended up civil as well!

I kinda wish we'd had time for some more shady Yasuki stuff, but I appreciate what we did get

Now for the wrestlers.... I'll say the same thing I said to Sayomi about the winds. What's your guess on what I did there? XD
