Ghost of Yogo Kiuchi

Work hit me hard for a bit there and drained all mental energy to play. Honestly, if I was in a more populated Clan, I might have dropped, but I didn't want to leave Eiji with even more work (he honestly was going above and beyond as it was).
His death took me by surprised. I was pretty bummed out, afraid I screwed up everyone's hard work since it didn't actually say what would happen if someone failed. Ultimately, I was happy what happened. I didn't really get a chance to play, but at least I got one rememberable scene.
If anyone has any questions for Kiuchi, feel free to ask.

Hmmm... most of my usual go-tos are kinda covered by "RL-no-Oni trampled you"
1. Had you had more gas in the tank, what was plan A for Kiuchi?
2. Please tell me someone's on hand to look after his dog

1. Kiuchi had two goals. The first was to uget married. His mom was dedicated to trying to find him a wife with the right combination of good political match and make his life a living Hell. He was trying to avoid that. Though he wasn't interested in romance due to being a Yogo. He did already break his Curse, romance is complicated. He just wanted a good, dutiful marriage.
His second was to help the Yogo daimyo overcome his madness. That was a bit of an ambitious goal and one he didn't really have any idea of how to do it (hence why he showed up at the Temple different times when the game first started).
2. Actually, it's his father's dog. His mom was kind enough to gift his personal dog to the Yogo daimyo as a gift. So, yes, he will be fine. Sota will go back to his owner and live a happy life.

Sorry we had so little interaction, mostly in the direction of getting you involved in activities leading to death.
Eiji plans to ransack your stuff for some paper Hoshiko can use for origami to offer at shrines as she travels. So his spirit may have some connections all over. Assuming that would please him, that is. Would origami dogs be appropriate?
I admit, I was also pretty bummed seeing the failed roll! And then realizing that poor Kiuchi also lost the roll for ghostly "eeny meeny miny moe" for possession. I'm glad the GMs were able to turn it into a worthwhile moment.
You mentioned (in PM I think) plans to maybe pick up one of his cousins for a future game. Similarly tragic Yogo type?

Director's Cut Question: Think back on the game as a whole. If you could go back, and add just one more scene with our characters in it, what would it be? What are they doing/talking about?

Kiuchi would like that. He always viewed himself as a humble trader. He'd feel honored that someone who he didn't know that well was honoring his memory. And dogs would absolutely be appropriate.
I have no idea what the story of his cousin will be. Have some vague concepts, though nothing tying directly in Yogo tragedy. Kiuchi wasn't supposed to be one until I rolled up his family and got that he had one dead sibling, an indifferent father, and a mother who hated him. Then I had to go with tragedy.

I'm going to cheat and name two.
I liked the teacher-student dynamic they were developing over politics. I really wish we would have gotten more of that.
Though I was looking forward taking part in the meta game to see who the new Emperor would be. I would have loved a scene of talking about who we should throw our support behind and possibly some scheming.

A shame Sayomi never got around to meeting this pet. Missed one of the PC fluffs!
... Oh yeah, and never got around to meeting Kiuchi either, which also sucks! Seems like it wasn't in the cards this game due to sickness and RL.
Which Wind would Kiuchi have supported if he lived?
What made you decide on having a family with dogs as a focus?

Before IRL screwed me up, he was leaning Tomaru, but honestly, anyone but the adviser. His main concern was there had to be a clear line of succession and with her age there was a concern that she would be able to provide an heir.
No particular reason. Originally, they were just going to be river traders until right before submission day, I randomly decided they would be dog people.

It was fun. I enjoyed our scenes. I was a bit sadden we didn't get the second Tomaru scene in.
