"We could bless your crops to oroduce more next season if that helps. If you are actually lookong to know the current state of excess rice...I guess the libraries might be of help?"
"Those are possibilities, Asako-san, I'll add those to my notes of things to consult the delegation about." he agreed.
He looked up as the horn blew seeming to signal end of court for the day. At least, that's how Eiji would choose to remember and never speak of it.
He smiled a bit.
"I feel this has been a very useful conversation, Asako-san. I'll consult with the delegation on the points we discussed and see what progress we can make. Was there anything else you'd like me to look into?" he asked, feeling he hadn't quite plumbed the depths of what the Phoenix were looking for.
