Two part question for the Floating Banquet event:

1) Would Perform/Poetry also apply to the second part?
2) if not, would the effects of the Doji Warrior poet Technique apply? I have the text below for reference

Technique: Fan & Sword - A warrior-poet understands that focus is the one and only key to not only victory, but enlightenment as well. When you spend a Void Point to augment an Iaijutsu Skill Roll or a Perform: Poetry Skill Roll, you gain a bonus of +2k1 instead of +1k1. Additionally, whenever you are victorious in a duel or a poetry contest, you gain one additional point of Glory. If you were championing someone else, that person also gains one additional point of Glory. This is in addition to any normal amount being rewarded.

Thought about it, and, yes to #1, so F&S applies.

Asking as I'm trying to manage my timeslots and Void on Day 10: Can we perform Tea Ceremony or Meditate in the same timeslots we're researching sumai-wrestlers/influencing them? Or does interacting with them take up the whole timeslot?

Same question but for RP scenes that aren't with the big guys, too, while we're at it?

I've occasionally been doing RP scenes with other PCs in the same time slot when I'm using Courtier to seek information, but I read the "This post does take up a timeslot" note for the actual influence roll to mean it uses that timeslot exclusively, no other activity (rolls/non-sumai RP) possible. But I now realize I never actually confirmed that reading!

I would say neither Meditation nor Tea Ceremony need to be hour-long activities. You can slip them in in a research or sumai slot. What you shouldn't be doing is posting your sumai roll or research roll and then jumping into an event at the same time, or something deeply strenuous like an investigation or ritual. The sumai or research roll should be the main point of the timeslot they are in.

The Gozoku in general is a little fuzzy past "Crane and Scorpion did something naughty with government. So did the Phoenix, but less so and anyway we don't hate them as much right now" unless you have Forbidden Knowledge: Gozoku.
