While not exactly lavish by the standards of the Otosan Uchi or the Kyuden Bayushi, the Daimyo's Residence of Kyuden Ikoma is still a grand building of some 24 rooms. Each room, except the kitchen, is multi-purpose, with lots of closet space for storing moveable furniture. During court, the Daimyo's Villa is packed with the staff that would normally be sleeping in the Tenshu's Imperial Apartments. Lord Ikoma himself will be staying here, but spends much of his day either in the Lion Delegation House or putting out fires in the Tenshu.
