The Copper Hills is the nicest teahouse in town. Run by O-Akari, the matron of an impressive family that supplies the brewers, confectioners, and wait staff, it has a reputation for providing the finest imported teas from points south and the perfect confections to go with them. Attached to the teahouse is a small store where one can buy fine sweets and pastries.

The Copper Hills is not terribly large; a dozen tables of a good size, each with a bespoke tea service, take up the main room. There is also 1 private room for honored guests, but it is prohibitively expensive for non-samurai and triples for Crab or Scorpion samurai. O-Akari may be old, but she remembers the siege of Kyuden Ikoma in 440, and she does not forgive.
