Masaki hears the screams coming from inside the Temple and, unsure who is producing most of them, considers rushing inside for a split second. But she notices a few things.

#1: she probably won't be able to much
#2: Hoshiko is running right besides them, so maybe she can help stem the violence there
#3, and most importantly: Someone is trying to get away not far from them, which might mean more problems later.

She decides to address #3, since she's *just* close enough to reach the runaway skulker if she's quick. Good thing they (well, some of them) practiced that kind of thing in the academy!

She takes a few quick steps towards him, hands starting the same gestures she had just done even while she moves, and the air spirits again pick up their pace to produce a strong gale that tries to take him off his feet!
