"Perhaps it is, Kitsu-san. I can't say that Benten smiled upon us as she has upon Shiba Ryusei-san and Agasha Yuna-san, but not all blessings are quite so obvious. It was a rather minor treaty that saw me change my wardrobe, but it eventually led me here. I feel like I've had an impact serving Bayushi-ue. Perhaps more than I would have standing amongst the Lion." he admits.
