She bowed. There were so many eyes here. She tried to stand at an appropriate distance. Though she longed to reach out and hold tight to him.

He took a breath, and let it out.

"I have some packing to do. And we have to discuss some details of our wedding, and now seems as good a time as any."

He didn't offer her his arm as he headed out- that wasn't the Rokugani way.

No, he stood at exactly the appropriate distance. A testament to his willpower.

There was just the slightest easing of tension in her at his words.

She fell into step at his side. At a courteous distance. Her usual delicate slow steps. Maintaining the appropriate distance.

But she thought of the Tao. “Your soul - your life energy - is not bound by the flesh. It can reach where your fingers cannot."

And so, her soul reached for him, even when the rest of her could not.

And she followed him out of the gallery towards Phoenix House.

Honoka listened to Hachis words, impressed that the man still carried himself with confidence despite everything. It was an interesting suggestion also, and very true that none here truly knew what happened at the Tournament of the Kami.

At the comments on peace, Honoka quietly said "I think one needs to look to the mountains before approaching peaceful solutions" with a small look towards the Dragon and Phoenix leaving together before turning back.
