Do we need to declare who the campaign points are going towards if we are using them for a Contender's Influence total?

Is it better to come to an answer quickly or to consider all of the options? [Battle/Willpower TN 25 or Meditation/Void TN 20]

If you do meditation/void, do you get a vp back like you do on the earthquake event?

At the end of the day, Bokushi will carefully review your answers. The 4 highest scoring (in terms of successes and raises across all 3 stages) people who do not come across as unwise choices for a wise old man to entrust with an incredibly important mission will be chosen.

You have to call 1 raise on the first roll as a non-monk, does that count for raises on this?

It'll count as an attack, sure, but no Stances.

If you choose to remain in court and observe your proper role, then:
You may purchase a Devotion 1, Influence 3 Ally: Ikoma Ryota or a Devotion 1, Influence 4 Ally: Akodo Sanae or Ally: Shiba Higashime advantage at a 1-xp discount. You gain Honor equal to Aiding a Wounded Enemy.

Do you have to choose the ally you gain at this point (we don't have xp yet so we can't buy them anyway) or just when you spend the xp?

It's sort of moot. You'll be getting the xp on dayflip, so there's a degree to which I feel flexible about that. I would like to know before the end of Day 4, just so that I'm not losing track of people's rewards.

1) For this purpose, no. Rewards for it are overridden by Event awards.

Then yes. But keep in mind that NPCs will be...otherwise focused than on even the most charming actor.
