The ‘Mea Culpa’ post adjustment (about -5 TN) won’t count for today’s already published events, correct?

(Btw, all the love! Enjoying the game!)
Correct. We're discussing how to address today's business, and we think we've found natural work-arounds that won't require picking through everyone's rolls and/or making people re-roll.

I am unsure of one point in the court scene / court action.

If I have spoken on a topic and am part of that topic's discussion, can I speak again to clarify a point, suggest consensus, etc? Is that appropriate/expected?

Or, no, only the facilitator does that, and the setting would find it inappropriate/rude for a delegate to do that.

Or, no, not without a new roll / action, but feel free, it's appropriate if you want.
You can speak again to continue to advocate for (perhaps clarify) your original position or say "never mind about what I said before, here's a new idea" (both options using Advance own position again), but the second one possibly opening you up for a little criticism.

or, you can try to pick apart someone else's position (using Refute) to drive folks toward consensus or dropping out. Or if you have an appropriate Courtier Technique, you can use a Court Action to use that.

For the Hidden Emperor event, should we assign a timeslot that we did it in (in regards to vps used and vp recovery)?
That would be a good idea.

Just to clarify further on this - speaking further on one's point 'without' an associated action and roll should *not* be a thing, then?

EDIT: Also, my apologies for summoning the time goblins

Do Kata apply for combat themed rolls in the Hidden Emperor event?

Quick rules question - I rolled a roll to do a court post, and while I typed it, other stuff happened and it is no longer the right time to speak.

I could potentially speak again, but maybe not depending on what NPCs do.

If I don't end up speaking, what happens to that roll and void spent? Is it just refunded?

Given what just happened...link the roll here, please, so that I have notation on it, and you may consider the roll not to have taken place, VP and all.

Probably should have asked this earlier, but are imperial scribes considered an imperial office for the sake of the court events?

Requesting the Mantis daimyo here.

Feel free to take you time though. I'm about to leave for the movies soon.

For the Earthquake events... it looks like a couple of people have chosen "stay in place" in Part 1 but then did Part 3 as well? May be a good idea to double-check that everyone understands the choice there.

I'll second that, maybe worth a clarification even (Especially since Part 3 takes part in the 'Court' forum, which could have been the reason for the confusion!). Maybe even asking those who did as Shin said what they actually want to do?

Other than that, something here:
viewtopic.php?f=63&t=572&p=5423#p5423

And one more here:
viewtopic.php?f=63&p=5421#p5421

EDIT: Adding a third question.
The Court Galleries thread today doesn't list Seppun Sadako, even though she's clearly there. I assume that means while she's there, her position (in duty to keep things safe) does not allow one to approach her?
(I also assume I probably couldn't approach her given my Influence either way, but just to be sure XD)

Thanks!

Seppun Sadako usually sits on the dais. You don't want to get on the dais.

Let me know what I should be rolling, as I assume this will require a roll.
