Aiko blinks a couple of times in surprise, then bows to a precise degree.

"Now that's right nice of you t'say, Yasuki-san," she says. "What all c'n I do f'r you?"

The Kitsune's accent does take the Yasuki by surprise a bit, but only for a moment - and the only indication is a fleeting small, warm smile on the right corner of her lips.

"This one would be happy to learn more about our neighbours, Kitsune-sama. Our people were just proposing the importance of Strength in Unity and Diversity - good relations with our Minor Clan kin is certainly an important part of that, as is their continued well being - especially of those closest to us, ne?" The small smile comes back for a split second as she bows again.

"I believe the Court may be coming to a close soon, though, isn't it? Could Kitsune-sama maybe grant this one some time for a conversation at a later date? Perhaps in a slightly more relaxed setting?"

The Yasuki nods warmly. "I'll make sure to reserve some time for that talk, then. Whenever it's more fitting for Kitsune-sama. Thank you kindly."

(OOC: RL has been suggesting I'll be rather sparse on D3 - would that be ok if we postponed that to D4 instead? I'd prefer D3 for game-internal reasons, but may not be able to make it happen and proceed with the thread properly. Didn't expect it at first, sorry )

Another warm nod. "Of course, Kitsune-sama - I can only imagine how busy Kitsune-sama must be, leading your delegation!" A final nod, the fan partly covering a small, gentle smile. "The next day should be fine, then. But I'll send a runner either way to make sure Kitsune-sama is available, if that would be acceptable."
