Right now he's just about finished looking over the stage--though he hasn't climbed up on the wooden platform itself, as doing so would require removing his sandals, and he's not positive his socks are perfectly dry after his stroll through the morning-dew-bedecked grounds. The sacred space of the stage shouldn't be dirtied, at least not casually, so he settles for thumping his palm on the boards to simulate a foot-stamp and test the acoustics a little.
Meanwhile, a small white dog is bobbling around the seating area near the stage, his silken leash trailing forgotten behind him, though he isn't straying far from his master. Plenty of interesting smells right here!
