Fair. Then we should let them pick a skill they have at least one rank in. Do you pick the skill you only have 1 rank in and shouldn't explode 15 times, or do you pick the thing you've got 5 ranks in, and shouldn't produce a batch of 1s for you?

Yeah, Invisible Castle was the absolutely worst, really-really. I don't know, maybe I was younger and didn't know how to risk assess but IC had some really ludicrous results. I think it was truly suspecting of not being random enough when you see that not the low results but the same numbered results kept popping up (admittedly, were low still and resulting in a fail).

With IC, you just had to master the art of fail-posting or you were just never going to have a good time.

Someone told me that IC's results would depress the more people were using it "at once," so it was better to roll at non-peak hours. It sounded a little like magical thinking, but I admit that once you hear it, it infects your psyche a bit.
