That's true - I assume we could probably get some clearance as blessings for the occasion, but probably worth asking. Not sure how exactly though. Talking to the Seppun beforehand maybe?

I'll leave it up to you, Shin - Masaki is fine with participating in the Kyogen part in Act 2, and could also do celestial/ghost maidens in Act 1 and/or Supporting cast in Act 3. I suppose she could do the local deity as well if nobody else steps up.

Maybe a Google Docs to organise that could be useful too? Your call, of course

A court action for that is a really good idea, in fact!

I'll defo support that and/or extend it to the art festival too.

This was the answer to my question about blessing the play/players with magic, okay now back to the classroom!

Seppun will come down hard on anything potentially dangerous or sinister. Minor boosts to characters and illusions related to the performance are okay.

Okay! Finally (kinda) done with the day of a million meetings!

I tossed up some threads for the play here:

My plan is to make a narration-post introducing each section of the action, and then let you all write your own descriptions (short or long, rolls or no rolls, up to you!) of how you perform your part. We'll give the players some time to describe and the audience some time to react to each part of the performance, and then go on to the next act.

1. The Blessing
2. First Act: Hagoromo
3. Interlude (Kyogen)
4. Second Act: Momijigari

I'll start with the blessing by our shugenja. Once they've had time to do whatever they would like to do, I'll go on to the first act with Hikaru, Ryuji, Honoka, Hoshiko, Minase, and our musicians. And so on!

I will aim to start the first act later tonight (if the shugenja are done), the comic interlude tomorrow morning (USA time), and if all goes to plan do the final act later Saturday--but we'll see how it goes, I want to give time to react to the finished performance but also to have fun playing it out!

I will PM the people in each act as we get there, starting with our shugenja.

This may be more of a dumb question, but reading the premise would voice count towards the acting role here as it's both voice based acting and moving base acting?

I'm just working out what my rolls would be for this
